History

The Club is located 3 kilometres from Lloret de Mar at the west end of Cala de Canyelles, built into a cliff surrounded by pines and local flora. Since its foundation in 1968, the Club has gradually broadened its portfolio of activities.

In 1970, construction work on the current sports port began, so that members and visitors could enjoy the best services possible. We have 134 berths in total, some of which measure up to 8 metres.

Canyelles is the furthest beach away from the town centre and can be accessed via the road that leads to Tossa de Mar. Canyelles is of a similar size to Santa Cristina and is home to the only port in Lloret de Mar.

Cala Canyelles has the coarse, white sand characteristic of most of Lloret’s beaches and many others along the Costa Brava. If you look up, you can take in the views of the surrounding pine-covered cliffs.
